For our fifth birthday, authors of the best papers will be invited to submit extended versions to a special issue of New Review of Hypermedia and Multimedia (NRHM). The New Review provides a focus for research and a source of information on practical and theoretical developments in hypermedia, hypertext, interactive multimedia and related technologies. These highly innovative systems allow the integration of images, sound, text and data to form powerful tools for information retrieval; by linking multimedia with mass storage, they can provide users with a more diverse and richly textured information environment.
