Advocates Timeline

Advocates are normally the steering committee. Advocates review the reviewers comments for quality etc., take into account the author rebuttals, and the reviewers responses to those rebuttals, and can start email discussions between reviewers in an attempt to reach consensus. They make a recommendation for the Programme Chairs consideration, raising any quality issues in the process.
