We are excited that this year’s Web4All hackathon will be held on May 15 & 16 at the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco. It will be jointly organised with the DIAGRAM Center and PEAT the Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology.

Attendees who are registered for W4A are eligible to participate as part of their conference experience at no extra cost. However, conference attendance is not a prerequisite and we particularly encourage members and friends of the DIAGRAM Center to participate. The signup link will be posted on this site soon.

The 2019 W4A Hackathon is the third in the series of successful events following 

The goal is again to spend time and expertise on furthering the accessibility of a commonly used web tool. This year one major theme will be to work on the accessibility issues in Jupyter Lab. In addition delegates are welcome to pitch their own accessibility projects at the start of the event.
