- Universal Usability: A Universal Design Approach to Web Usability -- The Universal Usability site houses an unabridged, online version of Access by Design: A Guide to Universal Usability for Web Designers, by Sarah Horton, published in 2005 by New Riders Press. In addition to the complete text and illustrations from the printed book, Access by Design Online offers links to texts and tutorials that support and expand on the concepts covered in the book. The site models universal usability principles and guidelines, both in its design and its availability. Universal usability begins with access, and Access by Design Online is freely available to all those interested in building a barrier-free web.
